LOS ANGELES — A star-studded lineup featuring Lil Wayne, GloRilla, and Camila Cabello is set to electrify fans with a concert series leading up to the highly anticipated national championship game in college football.
The College Football Playoff revealed on Thursday that this exciting event will kick off at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on January 18, as part of the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! series. The concerts will span two nights and culminate right before the College Football Playoff National Championship, scheduled for January 20, coinciding with both the presidential inauguration and Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
“This year’s AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! boasts an amazing lineup that promises to deliver unforgettable moments in Atlanta, blending the worlds of sports and music seamlessly,” remarked Mark Wright, who serves as vice president of media services and sponsorships at AT&T. “It’s the ideal way to launch championship weekend, amplifying the excitement for fans regardless of their team allegiance.”
On January 18, music lovers can catch hip-hop icons Lil Wayne and GloRilla on stage. The following night, performances by Camila Cabello, Myles Smith, and Knox are expected to take place.
Further enhancing the game day experience, country musicians Kane Brown and Ashley Cooke will also perform at the Allstate Championship Tailgate, which is set to commence the festivities for game day. This tailgate concert is scheduled to occur outside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Georgia International Plaza and The Home Depot Backyard.
Fans holding tickets for the championship game will gain entry to the tailgate concert.
Tickets for the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! series are slated to go on sale starting November 25 at 10 a.m. ET.
Previous performances in this concert series have featured notable artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Jack Harlow, Latto, Saweetie, Pitbull, Doja Cat, Usher, Meghan Trainor, and Sting, further showcasing the impressive caliber of talent associated with this event.
