COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Wade Taylor IV contributed 17 points while guard Zhuric Phelps added 16, leading No. 23 Texas A&M to a comeback victory against Southern with a final score of 71-54 on Wednesday night.
Although the Aggies (4-1) struggled initially, shooting only 23% from the field in the first half, they managed to bounce back after falling behind 39-25 at halftime. A remarkable 19-0 scoring run during the second half was pivotal in allowing Texas A&M to overtake Southern and decisively outscore them 46-15 in the latter half of the game.
