MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — In a commanding performance, Anthony Pritchard netted 18 points, leading Central Michigan to an impressive 86-52 victory over Central State of Ohio on Wednesday evening.

Pritchard also contributed five rebounds for the Chippewas, who improved to a 3-2 record this season. Jakobi Heady performed well, scoring 15 points, hitting 4 of 8 from the field and a perfect 7 for 7 from the charity stripe, in addition to gathering seven rebounds. Damarion Bonds added 13 points, connecting on 4 of 10 attempts, including 2 for 6 from beyond the arc, and finished 3 of 4 at the free-throw line.

For the Marauders, Ramar Pryor was the standout scorer with 17 points, while Raevon Thomas contributed 13 points. Javantae Randle chipped in with five points to his team’s efforts.

Central Michigan seized control of the game with 11:44 remaining in the first half and maintained their lead through the remainder of the game. In the first half, Pritchard led the Chippewas with 13 points, helping to establish a 41-25 advantage at halftime. The team continued to pull away in the second half, stretching their lead to 67-31 during a notable 12-0 scoring stretch. Cayden Vasko emerged as a significant player in the latter half, leading his team with 11 points as they wrapped up the game with authority.
