— In a competitive matchup on Tuesday night, K.J. McClurg led the Longwood Lancers to a 66-60 victory over the Binghamton Bearcats. McClurg showcased an impressive performance, contributing 20 points along with five rebounds to help his team secure the win and maintain their undefeated record at 5-0.
Michael Christmas also made a significant impact, scoring 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds during the game. Johan Nziemi added to the team’s efforts by finishing 3 of 5 from the field, contributing a total of eight points.
On the other side, the Bearcats, now with a record of 2-4, saw their scoring lead come from Ben Callahan-Gold, who totaled 15 points. Tymu Chenery also had a strong performance for Binghamton, securing 14 points, along with six rebounds and an impressive four blocked shots. Gavin Walsh contributed to the team’s total with 11 points and 12 rebounds, demonstrating solid effort in the loss.
