Every player from TCU’s roster who participated in the game managed to score a minimum of three points. The team exhibited sharp shooting, with White opening the scoring with a three-pointer, followed by two more from Brendan Wenzel. Frankie Collins then capped a 17-5 run with two layups, propelling TCU to a significant 15-point lead with 5:43 remaining in the first half. By halftime, TCU had established a 39-22 advantage, maintaining a double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.
The Horned Frogs displayed an efficient shooting performance, hitting 14 of 28 from the field and making 7 of 14 attempts from beyond the arc. In stark contrast, Alcorn State struggled offensively, managing only 29% shooting during the first half.
