BALTIMORE — In an exciting match on Tuesday night, George Beale made a significant impact off the bench, contributing 23 points to help the Hampton Pirates secure a 78-68 win against the UMBC Retrievers.
Beale demonstrated his shooting skills by connecting on 9 of 16 attempts from the field, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. His performance was crucial in the Pirates’ overall effort, and he was supported by Noah Farrakhan, who contributed 19 points with an impressive shooting percentage of 7 for 9, along with a perfect 3 for 3 from three-point territory. Wayne Bristol Jr. also had a solid performance, scoring 15 points with a shooting line of 4 for 7, including 2 for 3 from three-point range, and he added nine rebounds to his stats.
