STORRS, Conn. — In a decisive matchup on Tuesday evening, UConn, ranked second in the nation, secured an 81-46 victory over East Texas A&M, with Solo Ball playing a pivotal role by scoring 10 out of his 12 points in the first half.

Alex Karaban and Liam McNeeley contributed significantly as well, each adding 11 points to the scoreboard, while Aidan Mahaney chipped in with 10 points for the undefeated Huskies (4-0). Tarris Reed Jr. made a notable impact off the bench, recording nine points, alongside 10 rebounds and three blocks.

For East Texas A&M, Camerin James emerged as a standout player, finishing with 18 points and four rebounds in the game, though it wasn’t enough to secure a win for his team, which now holds a record of 1-3.

UConn, the reigning two-time NCAA champions, commanded the game early on. With a lead of 26-17 and just under six minutes remaining in the first half, the Huskies quickly found their groove.
