The Baltimore Ravens have officially added former All-Pro defensive back Desmond King to their practice squad, as announced on Tuesday.
Alongside this decision, the team has chosen to part ways with cornerback Bump Cooper, who was also on the practice squad.
Desmond King, at 29 years old, has had a varied career in the NFL, having played only a single game this season with the Houston Texans before being cut from their practice squad last week.
Notably, King made a significant mark in 2018 when he earned All-Pro honors during his second year in the league while playing for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Since his time with the Chargers, King has struggled to secure a consistent starting position, having not been a regular starter since 2022 when he played with the Texans.
In that particular season, he recorded two interceptions along with two fumble recoveries, showcasing his capability on the field.
