Ryan Preece signs with Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing for the 2025 Cup Series season.

Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing is set to introduce a third vehicle in the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2025 season, and Ryan Preece will be behind the wheel of the No. 60 Ford.

This announcement comes as the team prepares for a three-car roster that will include veteran drivers Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher. As part of this new venture, Kroger will take on the role of primary sponsor for Preece’s new venture with the team, which was revealed on Tuesday.

Preece, who has yet to win in his 187 starts in the Cup Series, spent the last two seasons driving for Stewart-Haas Racing. Prior to that, he competed with JTG Daugherty Racing, where he developed a relationship with Kroger.

In the previous season, Keselowski and Buescher both secured victories that propelled them into the 12-car playoffs, finishing the season in 10th and 11th places, respectively, in the overall standings.

Steve Newmark, president of RFK Racing, expressed excitement regarding this expansion, stating, “We are pleased to officially announce our plans for growth and the next chapter in our development at RFK. From the outset, Ryan Preece was our top choice for this third entry, and his impressive journey from grassroots racing to the Cup Series is incredibly promising for our future.”

The 2025 Cup season is scheduled to commence with the Clash, a special exhibition event at Bowman-Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on February 2. The regular season will kick off shortly thereafter on February 16 at Daytona International Speedway.
