LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana — In an exciting matchup on Monday night, Sincere Parker made a significant impact off the bench, contributing 18 points to propel McNeese State to a 68-61 victory over North Texas.
Parker’s performance included 4 successful field goals out of 10 attempts, with a three-point shooting rate of 1 out of 6, and he excelled in free throws, hitting 9 out of 11. This win marks McNeese’s second victory of the season, bringing their record to 2-2. Other notable players for the Cowboys were Quadir Copeland, who added 11 points and grabbed five rebounds, and Joe Charles, who chipped in with 10 points.
For the Mean Green, who now hold a record of 3-1, Brenen Lorient was the standout player with 12 points. Johnathan Massie supported the team with 10 points, as well as eight rebounds and three steals, while Atin Wright also contributed with 10 points and two steals.
