RUSTON, La. — In a dominant performance on Monday night, Daniel Batcho showcased his scoring prowess by pouring in 38 points as Louisiana Tech overwhelmed Mississippi College with a convincing score of 105-67.
Batcho’s impressive outing also included eight rebounds, contributing significantly to the Bulldogs’ unblemished start to the season at 4-0. Supporting him in the offensive effort, Kaden Cooper offered 15 points along with eight rebounds, while Amaree Abram contributed 13 points to the team’s tally.
For the Choctaws, Odis Carter led the scoring with 17 points along with two steals. JJ Harris also had a solid showing, racking up 16 points and dishing out four assists, while Tyree Bracey added 14 points along with a couple of steals.
Louisiana Tech established control of the game right from the outset, claiming the lead just 19 seconds in and maintaining it throughout. Batcho was pivotal in the first half, scoring 12 points and helping the team secure a 46-36 advantage at halftime.
