Kyrell Shaw delivered an impressive performance, scoring 31 points as the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks triumphed over Gallaudet with a final score of 113-58 on Monday evening. This marked the first victory of the season for the Hawks, who now hold a record of 1-4.
Shaw demonstrated his scoring prowess, achieving 11 successful shots out of 20 attempts, which included 7 out of 13 three-point shots. Chris Flippin contributed significantly as well, with an efficient 16 points from 7 successful shots out of 10 attempts. Additionally, Jose Cuello proved effective, adding 13 points to the scoreboard and shooting 4 out of 6, with an outstanding 4 for 5 from the three-point line.
On the opposing side, the Bison were led by Jory Valencia, who scored 13 points. Blessed Mbogo also made his mark with 12 points and contributed with two steals, though it wasn’t enough to secure a win for Gallaudet.
