NEWARK, Del. — In a thrilling matchup on Monday night, Barry Evans showcased an impressive performance, scoring 25 points to propel Bryant to a narrow 85-84 win over Delaware.

Evans also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improved their record to 3-1. Alongside him, Earl Timberlake had a solid outing with 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while Kam Farris added another 13 points to the scoreboard.

On the other side, the Fightin’ Blue Hens, now standing at 2-2, were led by John Camden, who poured in 27 points, along with two steals and two blocks. Cavan Reilly chipped in with 15 points and made key defensive plays with two steals. Niels Lane also made his mark with 13 points, including steals that contributed to the team’s overall effort.
