EUGENE, Ore. — Keeshawn Barthelemy led a well-rounded performance with 15 points as Oregon comfortably defeated Troy 82-61 on Sunday afternoon.

Barthelemy was efficient, hitting 4 of 6 field goals, including three 3-pointers, while also going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line, contributing to the Ducks’ impressive 4-0 season record.

Supporting Barthelemy were TJ Bamba, who scored 13 points, and Nate Bittle, who added 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Supreme Cook came off the bench to chip in 11 points on 4-for-5 shooting, while Brandon Angel contributed 10 points to the scoreboard.

For the Trojans, Myles Rigsby was the standout player, scoring 15 points on 6-for-12 shooting before fouling out. However, Troy struggled significantly from beyond the arc, converting only 12% of their 3-point attempts, making just 3 out of 25 shots.

The Ducks started strong, scoring the first eight points of the game, and extended their lead to 12-1 thanks to a tip-in by Bittle. Following a turnover by Troy, Bamba’s layup pushed Oregon’s advantage to 21-6 with 9:50 remaining in the first half. Thomas Dowd’s layup briefly brought the Trojans’ deficit down to single digits at 26-17 with five minutes left before intermission. However, Barthelemy responded with two three-pointers and two free throws, helping Oregon to a 12-2 run to reach a commanding 38-19 lead. Rigsby managed to close the gap with a pair of free throws and a dunk, leaving Troy trailing by 15 points at halftime.

In the second half, Bamba quickly boosted Oregon’s lead with a 3-pointer, and Jadrian Tracey added a fastbreak layup, increasing the Ducks’ edge to 20 points just three minutes into the period. Oregon maintained control throughout the rest of the game, never looking back.

Oregon displayed impressive shooting, finishing with 52% accuracy from the field, hitting 7 of 22 from 3-point territory, and a stellar 17 of 19 from the free-throw line. In contrast, Troy managed to hit 37% of their shots while sinking 8 of 10 free throws.

Next up for the Ducks is a matchup against Oregon State on Thursday.
