PROVIDENCE, R.I. — In a thrilling finish, Aidan Richard drained a crucial three-pointer just before the final buzzer to lift Holy Cross to a narrow 74-72 win over New Hampshire on Sunday.

Richard and Tyler Boston were the standout performers for the Crusaders (3-2), each contributing 12 points. Boston not only scored but also dished out eight assists, while Richard showcased his shooting skills, hitting 4 of 5 attempts from beyond the arc. Max Green added valuable contributions as well, scoring 11 points—three of which came from long range—and grabbing eight rebounds.

The Wildcats (1-6) were led by Anthony McComb III, who put up 17 points and secured six boards. Rex Sunderland chipped in with 13 points, while Davide Poser followed closely with 12 points of his own.

Holy Cross faced a challenging first half, as Jaiden Feroah was able to score nine points before halftime. The team entered the locker room down by seven, trailing New Hampshire 41-34. In the second half, Richard took charge for Holy Cross, leading the way with nine points that helped turn the game around.
