HACKENSACK, N.J. — In an exciting match-up at the NY/NJ Classic on Sunday, Terrence Brown led Fairleigh Dickinson to an 85-82 triumph over Manhattan, showcasing his skills with a standout performance that included 28 points.
With just 21 seconds remaining on the clock, Brown executed a critical layup that gave his team a narrow lead. Ahmed Barba-Bey also played a key role in sealing the win by sinking two free throws only 4 seconds before the final buzzer.
In addition to his scoring achievements, Brown contributed significantly on the boards, securing seven rebounds for the Knights, who improved their season record to 2-3. His teammates also made valuable contributions, including Brayden Reynolds, who scored 15 points while making an impressive 6 out of 7 attempts from the field and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line. Jo’el Emanuel added to the scoring effort with 13 points, hitting 5 of 9 attempts overall, including a remarkable 3 of 4 from three-point range.
