In Oklahoma City, the Dallas Mavericks will be without their star guard Luka Doncic for the upcoming game against the Thunder due to a bruised right knee.
Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd remained uncertain about the duration of Doncic’s absence. The team is set to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, and Kidd expressed hope that Doncic might be able to participate in that matchup.
Kidd stated, “We’ll see how he feels today, it’s all about how he feels tomorrow, and hopefully he can take the court on Tuesday.”
Doncic is currently posting impressive statistics this season, averaging 28.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game. In a recent game, Doncic logged a season-low of 28 minutes in a victory against San Antonio, contributing 16 points along with six rebounds and six assists.
Despite Doncic’s individual performances, the Mavericks have experienced challenges early in the season, sitting at a record of 6-7 after having reached the NBA Finals last year.
