MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Anias Futrell clinched a close game with crucial free throws, completing three shots from the charity stripe with just 14 seconds on the clock to secure a narrow 75-74 win for Lindenwood against Stonehill on Sunday. Futrell’s outstanding performance saw him contribute a total of 24 points, alongside gathering 11 rebounds and securing three steals, helping his team improve to a record of 2-3 for the season.

In addition to Futrell’s impressive stats, teammate Jadis Jones was also pivotal, scoring 14 points. He demonstrated proficiency both inside and outside the arc with a field goal shooting percentage of 57.1%, hitting 4 of 7 from the field and converting 6 of 10 free throw attempts. Clayton Jackson added 12 points for the Lions, going 4 of 6 from the field, which included two successful attempts from three-point range.
