ROCK HILL, S.C. — In an exciting matchup on Sunday, the Tribe of William & Mary secured a victory against Georgia Southern with a final score of 102-87, propelled by a strong performance from Noah Collier, who netted 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Gabe Dorsey joined the scoring efforts, contributing 17 points while managing to hit five out of 13 attempts from beyond the arc. Kyle Pulliam also played a pivotal role, scoring 15 points and showcasing his shooting skills with three successful 3-pointers from eight attempts.
For the Eagles, Nakavieon White emerged as the top scorer, finishing the game with 25 points and six rebounds. He received additional support from Nate Brafford with 11 points and Adante’ Holiman, who added 10 points to the scoreboard.
William & Mary seized control of the game midway through the first half, taking the lead at the 11:16 mark and maintaining it through the remainder of the game. By halftime, the Tribe held a narrow lead of 48-45, thanks in part to Pulliam’s first-half efforts, where he tallied 10 points.
In the second half, William & Mary demonstrated their dominance by executing a remarkable 10-0 run, increasing their lead from eight points to an impressive 18 points. The Tribe outperformed the Eagles by 12 points in the second half alone, with Collier leading the charge by scoring 16 of his total points after halftime.
This decisive win improved William & Mary’s record to 3-3, while Georgia Southern fell to 4-2. The game showcased the Tribe’s ability to rally and maintain their lead, establishing a formidable presence on the court.
