Tyler Boston was instrumental in Holy Cross’s victory over Brown, scoring 18 points to help secure a 73-65 win on Saturday night.
Boston displayed impressive shooting, completing 5 of his 8 attempts from the field and achieving a stellar 7 of 8 from the charity stripe for the Crusaders, who now hold a record of 2-2.
In addition to Boston’s performance, Joe Nugent contributed significantly with 15 points, shooting 6 of 11 overall, which included 3 for 6 from three-point range, along with seven rebounds.
Max Green also played a key role, contributing another 15 points, hitting 6 of his 12 shots, including 3 out of 5 from downtown.
On the other side, Kino Lilly Jr. was the standout scorer for the Bears, finishing the game with an impressive 24 points.
Brown’s Landon Lewis helped his team with a solid performance, tallying 15 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks throughout the match.
Additionally, Aaron Cooley provided support with seven points and 11 rebounds, but could not ultimately lead Brown to victory as they fell to a record of 1-3.
