BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Ben Callahan-Gold delivered an impressive performance with 19 points in the Binghamton Bearcats’ dominant 77-48 victory over Misericordia on Saturday.
Callahan-Gold showcased his shooting skills by hitting 6 of his 11 attempts from the field, including 4 out of 8 from beyond the arc, while also completing all his free throws, going 3 for 3. This marked a significant contribution to the Bearcats’ season record, improving it to 2-3.
In addition to Callahan-Gold’s standout contributions, Chris Walker put in a solid performance, scoring 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds, helping to establish their control over the game. Tymu Chenery also played a notable role, adding 12 points and shooting efficiently, with 5 of 8 field goal attempts, including 2 of 4 from 3-point range.
For Misericordia, Matt Prociak was the leading scorer, contributing 13 points, but it was not enough to turn the tide in favor of his team.
