KENNESAW, Ga. — In an impressive performance, Simeon Cottle contributed significantly with 27 points, aiding Kennesaw State in securing an 85-67 victory over Presbyterian on Saturday.
Kennesaw State took control of the game early, seizing the lead just 11 seconds into the first half and maintaining it throughout the contest.
Cottle demonstrated his shooting prowess, going 5 of 7 from the field, which included an exceptional 5 of 6 from beyond the arc. He also excelled at the free-throw line, hitting all 12 attempts. His offensive support included Ricardo Wright, who netted 15 points with a shooting performance of 5 for 14 (including 2 for 8 from three-point territory) and a perfect 3 for 3 at the charity stripe. Adrian Wooley contributed 13 points, making 5 of 9 from the field, including 3 of 4 from three-point range.
