Thomas achieved success with a shooting record of 6-for-13 from the floor and a commendable 5-for-6 from the charity stripe. His performance helped the Bears improve to a 3-2 record this season. Additionally, Daniel Akitoby was notable for Morgan State, providing 13 points and nearly a double-double with nine rebounds. Ahmarie Simpkins also made a significant impact, scoring 11 points while shooting at a rate of 50% from the field with 5-for-10 accuracy.

For the Highlanders, who remain winless at 0-4, Sebastian Robinson emerged as the leading scorer with 20 points.
