ARLINGTON, Texas — In an impressive display of offensive skill, the UT Arlington Mavericks triumphed over Texas College with a final score of 95-69 on Friday night, bolstered by Jaden Wells’ contribution of 16 points.
Wells showcased his shooting ability, making 6 of 12 attempts from the field, which included a 2 for 7 performance from behind the three-point line. Joining him in the scoring effort, Brandyn Talbot contributed 15 points along with five rebounds, while Brody Robinson added 14 points, demonstrating accuracy with 3 for 6 on three-pointers and a perfect 5 for 5 from the free throw line.
On the other side, Tyrone Woods Jr. led the scoring for the Steers with an impressive 20 points. His teammates also made significant contributions, with Ty’Quan Neal putting up 16 points and grabbing six rebounds, while Shayston Cornish added nine points to the total.
