RIVERDALE, N.Y. — In an exhilarating showdown on Friday night, Will Sydnor’s impressive performance of 24 points propelled the Manhattan Jaspers to a narrow 78-76 victory over the Fordham Rams.

Sydnor also contributed with five rebounds, helping his team improve to a record of 2-1. Devin Dinkins was another key player for the Jaspers, scoring 11 points while successfully converting 8 of his 9 attempts from the free-throw line and going 1 for 3 from three-point range. Additionally, Masiah Gilyard made a notable impact by scoring 10 points, hitting 4 of 6 shots from the floor.

On the other side, Japhet Medor was the standout for the Rams, finishing the game with 23 points and securing three steals. Jackie Johnson III also made his mark with a strong performance, adding 21 points, four assists, and three steals for Fordham. Will Richardson contributed with 12 points, complemented by six rebounds and two steals.
