HAMDEN, Conn. — In an exciting game on Friday night, Quinnipiac managed to edge past Maine with a close score of 58-55. Amarri Tice delivered an impressive performance for the Bobcats, scoring 21 points and contributing significantly with seven rebounds and four steals.
Jaden Zimmerman also played a key role, adding 12 points to the team’s total with an effective shooting night, making five of his eight attempts, although he struggled with his three-point shot, hitting just one of four. Alexis Reyes chipped in with eight points, shooting four of ten from the field but could not find success from long range, failing to score on all three of his three-point attempts.
On the other side, the Black Bears were led by AJ Lopez, who tallied 18 points along with two steals, showcasing his scoring ability. Jaden Clayton also made notable contributions with 12 points and added seven rebounds as well as three steals, aiding Maine in their effort to secure a win.
