Kaleb Smith’s impressive performance, scoring 21 points, propelled UC Riverside to a commanding 79-51 victory over La Sierra on Thursday evening.
Smith contributed not only with his scoring but also grabbed five rebounds for the Highlanders, who improved their record to 2-2.

Joining him in the scoring effort, Barrington Hargress netted 16 points, shooting 6 of 11 from the field and nailing 3 of 5 from 3-point distance, along with providing five assists.
Isaiah Moses also had a notable game, contributing 15 points on an efficient 5 of 7 shooting, including connecting on 4 of 6 attempts from beyond the arc, though he did miss 2 of his 3 free throw attempts.

For La Sierra, the scoring effort was led by Anthony Montoya, who scored 10 points.
