In a strong performance on Thursday evening, Bash Wieland contributed significantly to the Chattanooga Mocs’ 76-62 victory over Morehead State. Wieland scored an impressive 26 points, along with five rebounds and three steals, helping the Mocs secure their first win of the season, bringing their record to 1-3.
Honor Huff also made his mark on the game, scoring 13 points. He struggled slightly with his shooting, making only 4 of his 12 attempts from the field, which included a tough 2 for 10 from beyond the arc. However, he was perfect from the free-throw line, sinking all three of his attempts, and contributed with eight assists, showcasing his playmaking skills.
The Morehead State Eagles, who now share the same record of 1-3, were led by Dieonte Miles. He had a noteworthy game, finishing with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, along with three steals. Miles’ efforts, although commendable, were not enough to overcome the strong performance by the Mocs.
