RENO, Nev. — Xavier Dusell contributed significantly to the Nevada Wolf Pack’s victory over Weber State, scoring 17 points as the team triumphed 88-58 on Wednesday evening.

Dusell demonstrated impressive shooting skills, hitting 6 of 9 attempts from the floor and converting 5 out of 7 three-point shots. Alongside Dusell, Justin McBride added 16 points to the scoreboard, with a shooting accuracy of 5 for 9 overall, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc, as well as making 5 out of 6 from the free-throw line. Furthermore, Nick Davidson had a solid performance, scoring 14 points after making 3 of 4 shots from the field, all of which were three-pointers, in addition to hitting 5 out of 7 from the charity stripe.

For Weber State, Blaise Threatt stood out by scoring 13 points and providing four assists. Vasilije Vucinic made a notable contribution as well, totaling 11 points alongside grabbing 12 rebounds, while Miguel Tomley chipped in with eight points.

The Wolf Pack seized control of the game with just 6:46 remaining in the first half and maintained their advantage throughout. They went into halftime with a score of 40-28, highlighted by McBride’s 12-point first-half performance. Nevada further widened its lead during the second half, at one point going ahead 57-32, a stretch marked by a dominant 12-2 scoring run. Davidson led the team with 10 points in the second half, helping to secure the convincing victory.
