CULLOWHEE, N.C. — In an impressive performance, Chevalier Emery led the Western Carolina Catamounts to a decisive 99-64 victory over Truett McConnell on Wednesday evening.
Emery showcased his scoring ability by contributing 24 points to the team’s total, shooting a commendable 9 of 16 from the field, which included sinking 5 of 11 attempts from beyond the three-point line.

Supporting Emery’s efforts, Jamar Livingston added 13 points along with five rebounds, while Cord Stansberry contributed 11 points, converting 4 of 8 shots, with one successful three-pointer from four attempts.

For Truett McConnell, EJ Smith led his team with 18 points and recorded two steals. Myles McCrary played a significant role as well, finishing the game with 14 points, three steals, and two blocks, contributing to his team’s efforts. Raul Arias-Ortega also added 14 points to the scoreboard for the Bears.
