BOULDER, Colo. — Andrej Jakimovski showcased an impressive performance by sinking five 3-pointers, contributing 17 points to Colorado’s dominating 83-53 triumph over Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday night.

The Buffaloes improved their season record to 3-0, leading 35-29 at the halftime break. In a remarkable display during the second half, the team added 48 points to their tally, ultimately shooting 62% from the floor, including a solid 7 for 14 from beyond the arc.

With just 8.5 minutes left in the game, Colorado held a 55-43 advantage and ramped up their performance, outscoring the Titans 28-10 to clinch the victory.

Jakimovski’s shooting stats were notable, hitting 6 of 12 attempts overall and nailing 5 of his 8 shots from 3-point range. Julian Hammond III also made a significant contribution with 11 points, while Sebastian Rancik added another 11 points off the bench, wrapping up the game with a 3-pointer and a dunk.

Cal State Fullerton struggled offensively towards the end, making just one basket in the last 7.5 minutes of play, resulting in a woeful 1 for 14 shooting performance in that stretch. Overall, they finished the second half shooting only 21% and concluded the game with a mere 31% success rate.
