LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Southern Indiana secured a close victory over Bellarmine with a score of 71-69 on Wednesday evening, thanks to a late-game jumper by Jack Campion from the free-throw line with just 1.4 seconds remaining.

Jayland Randall was instrumental in the win, leading his team with an impressive 21 points and contributing three steals for the Screaming Eagles, who are now 1-3 for the season. Additionally, Stephen Olowoniyi put forth a solid performance, netting 14 points and grabbing six rebounds. Damoni Harrison also contributed to the team’s efforts with 10 points, although he struggled a bit from the field, finishing with a shooting percentage of 28.6%, including one 3-pointer out of three attempts. He did excel at the charity stripe, hitting five of his six free-throw attempts.

On the other side, the Knights were looking for their first win of the season and were led by Jack Karasinski, who scored 18 points while also blocking two shots. Ben Johnson and Billy Smith added to the scoreboard for Bellarmine, with Johnson scoring 12 points and Smith contributing 10.
