In an exciting matchup on Wednesday night, the Orlando Magic defeated the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 94-90, maintaining their perfect home record. With this victory, Orlando has now won six games at home this season and boasts an impressive streak of 13 consecutive home wins overall.

Franz Wagner stood out for the Magic, contributing 29 points to the scoreboard, while Jalen Suggs sealed the win with two crucial free throws just 9.8 seconds from the end of the game. On the other side, Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with an equal score of 29 points, supported by Bennedict Mathurin, who had an impressive outing with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton managed to gather nine points and 11 assists, while Goga Bitadze also played a significant role for the Magic, adding 12 points and matching Mathurin’s 12 rebounds.

Although Haliburton struggled, failing to score during the second half, the Pacers managed to hold a 45-41 lead at one point. However, their shooting accuracy fell short, converting only 10 of their 30 attempts from beyond the arc, despite being ranked as the third-best 3-point shooting team in the league.

The Magic, for their part, placed a strong emphasis on defense throughout the game, recording 10 blocks and eight steals while restricting Indiana to a shooting percentage of 38%. A pivotal moment in the game occurred when the Pacers had the upper hand early in the fourth quarter; a blocked layup by Anthony Black sparked a 13-1 scoring run for Orlando. Indiana remained scoreless in the fourth until Siakam finally connected on a 3-pointer with 7:26 left on the clock.

In terms of rebounding, the Magic dominated with a 50-41 advantage, thanks to contributions from Bitadze, Jonathan Isaac, who added 11 points, and rookie Tristan daSilva with nine points.

Looking ahead, the Pacers will return home to take on the Miami Heat this coming Friday night, while the Magic will host the Philadelphia 76ers on the same night.
