BALTIMORE – In an impressive display of skill, Wynston Tabbs scored 24 points to lead Morgan State to a decisive 90-64 victory over UDC on Tuesday evening.
Tabbs contributed significantly not only on offense but also defensively, racking up seven rebounds and five steals throughout the game, helping the Bears improve their record to 2-2.
Will Thomas was another key player for Morgan State, contributing 16 points while shooting 5 for 11 from the field and converting four out of six free throws. He also added five rebounds and four steals to his stat line.
Ahmarie Simpkins rounded out the scoring efforts with 15 points, providing additional support for the Bears.
On the opposing side, Greg Williams led the Firebirds with 21 points and two steals, putting up a valiant effort despite the team’s loss. Khyrie Staten also had a strong performance for UDC, scoring 17 points in the matchup.
The game showcased a range of talents from both teams, but it was Morgan State who ultimately triumphed with a substantial margin.
