EL PASO, Texas — In a strong performance, Otis Frazier III scored 17 points, leading the UTEP Miners to a decisive 78-58 victory over Texas-Permian Basin on Tuesday night.
Frazier’s impact went beyond scoring, as he also tallied seven assists and recorded four steals. Supporting his efforts, Kevin Kalu contributed 12 points, showcasing an efficient shooting night by hitting 6 of 8 shots from the field, along with grabbing seven rebounds. Corey Camper Jr. added another 12 points, finishing with a shooting percentage of 50%, going 5 of 10 from the floor.
On the opposing side, Dario Domingos was the standout for the Falcons, finishing the game with a solid performance of 18 points and 12 rebounds, along with two steals. Freddie Word also had a noteworthy game for Texas-Permian Basin, putting up 13 points while securing seven rebounds and dishing out six assists.
