BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Khristian Lander’s impressive performance off the bench, where he scored 23 points, propelled Western Kentucky to a resounding 104-76 win over Campbellsville on Tuesday evening.

Lander demonstrated his shooting prowess, making 9 of 13 attempts from the field, including five 3-pointers out of eight tries. His contribution was pivotal for the Hilltoppers, who improved their record to 1-2. Julius Thedford was also instrumental, scoring 16 points with a shooting efficiency of 5 for 8, which included an impressive 5 for 7 from long distance. Babacar Faye added 12 points to the scoreboard, hitting 4 of his 11 shots and converting all three of his free throw attempts.

On the other side, Cobe Penny was the top scorer for the Tigers, managing to put up 15 points. Dalton Kramer contributed with 12 points and gathered six rebounds for Campbellsville. Marcellus Vail also made his mark by scoring 11 points.
