BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Khristian Lander’s impressive performance off the bench, where he scored 23 points, propelled Western Kentucky to a resounding 104-76 win over Campbellsville on Tuesday evening.
Lander demonstrated his shooting prowess, making 9 of 13 attempts from the field, including five 3-pointers out of eight tries. His contribution was pivotal for the Hilltoppers, who improved their record to 1-2. Julius Thedford was also instrumental, scoring 16 points with a shooting efficiency of 5 for 8, which included an impressive 5 for 7 from long distance. Babacar Faye added 12 points to the scoreboard, hitting 4 of his 11 shots and converting all three of his free throw attempts.
