DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — Medical authorities in Palestine have reported that recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 14 individuals, among them two children and a woman. The majority of these casualties occurred in an area designated as a humanitarian zone by Israeli officials.
One of the attacks took place late on Monday, targeting a cafeteria located in the Muwasi humanitarian zone, situated to the west of Khan Younis. This assault led to the deaths of at least 11 people, including two young children, as per reports from officials at Nasser Hospital, where the injured were treated.
In a separate incident early on Tuesday, a strike targeted a residence in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza. This attack resulted in three fatalities, including one woman, according to staff at al-Awda Hospital, which received the wounded individuals. They also noted that 11 additional people sustained injuries from this strike.
