NEW YORK — For years, the stunning synchronization of lights adorning the facade of Saks Fifth Avenue’s main store in Manhattan has captivated holiday shoppers and visitors alike.
However, this year’s holiday display will take on a new look, as confirmed by a representative on Monday.
“In celebration of our 100th year, which coincides with the anniversary of our flagship location, we aim to honor the architectural grandeur of this landmark. We will elegantly illuminate the facade, frame the festive holiday windows, and showcase the renowned fashion that Saks Fifth Avenue embodies,” the spokesperson noted in an email statement.
The specially curated holiday window displays will be unveiled later this month.
The Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store is situated directly across from Rockefeller Plaza, which is famous for its magnificent Christmas tree.
