In a commanding performance on Sunday evening, Cal Poly triumphed over Menlo College, an NAIA team, with a score of 99-66 at home in San Luis Obispo.
Jarred Hyder led the Mustangs with an impressive 19 points, contributing significantly to the team’s first victory of the season, bringing their record to 1-2.
Hyder also notched up six rebounds and five assists, showcasing his all-around play.
Other notable contributors included Peter Bandelj, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds, and Mac Riniker, who had an efficient outing, finishing with 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting from the floor.
