MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — In a decisive performance, Robert Morris triumphed over Chatham with a score of 79-51 on Sunday, showcasing a strong team effort.
Alvaro Folgueiras was a standout, scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 rebounds for the Colonials, who improved their record to 1-2. Ryan Prather Jr. also made a significant contribution, scoring 19 points himself while shooting an impressive 5 for 8 from the field, including 4 for 6 from three-point range, and hitting all five of his free-throw attempts. Dilen Miller chipped in with 10 points, shooting 66% from beyond the arc (2 of 3) and going perfect at the free-throw line (4 of 4).
On the other end of the court, Blaine Gartley led the Cougars in scoring with 12 points. He also had a solid defensive presence, recording two steals and two blocks. Luca Robinson supported the team with 10 points and collected seven rebounds, while Lovenson Xavier added seven points to the mix.
