MANCHESTER, England — Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, celebrated his 250th appearance for the club in impressive fashion by netting a remarkable solo goal against Leicester City on Sunday.
Before the Premier League clash at Old Trafford kicked off, the Portugal international received a commemorative framed shirt. Fernandes then showcased his talent in the 17th minute when he combined with Amad Diallo, who set him up with a clever backheel. Fernandes executed a precise low shot that found the back of the net, leaving Leicester’s goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen, with no chance.

In the 38th minute, Fernandes struck again, scoring his second goal of the match with a shot that took a deflection off Victor Kristiansen. This goal further ignited the crowd, leading to jubilant celebrations among the home supporters, who joyfully chanted “Bruno” as Fernandes was embraced by his teammates.
