ARLINGTON, Texas — In an impressive display of basketball, Daniel Batcho contributed significantly to Louisiana Tech’s triumph, scoring 28 points in their 92-77 win over UT Arlington on Saturday evening.
Batcho also grabbed seven rebounds, adding depth to his performance. Amaree Abram showcased his scoring ability with 23 points, making eight of his 14 attempts, including five out of eight from beyond the arc. Additionally, William Jeffress Jr. put in a solid effort with 12 points, going 2 of 6 from the floor and hitting 8 out of 10 free throws, while also contributing 10 rebounds and five assists to the team’s success.
On the other side, Troy Hupstead led the Mavericks in scoring with 20 points and secured seven rebounds. Jaden Wells was also a key contributor, adding 17 points to the team’s total, while Raysean Seamster chipped in with 14 points.
Louisiana Tech seized control of the game with just over 10 minutes remaining in the first half and maintained their lead throughout the contest. By halftime, they were ahead 51-37, largely thanks to Batcho’s 20-point first-half performance. Abram continued to excel in the second half, scoring another 20 points to bolster his team’s efforts.
