Jets soar past Stars 4-1, clinching sixth consecutive victory with Iafallo and Namestnikov’s contributions

The Winnipeg Jets achieved their sixth straight victory on Saturday, triumphing over the Dallas Stars with a convincing score of 4-1. Alex Iafallo and Vladislav Namestnikov both made significant contributions to the win by each scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Additionally, Nikolaj Ehlers and Rasmus Kupari added to the scoreboard for the Jets, who currently hold the best record in the NHL with 14 wins and only one loss (14-1-0). This victory also allowed the Jets to complete a flawless four-game homestand. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was instrumental, making 32 saves to secure the win, while Cole Perfetti registered a couple of assists.

On special teams, Winnipeg had success, converting 2 of 5 power play opportunities, while Dallas struggled, failing to capitalize on all four of their chances with the man advantage. Roope Hintz managed to score a consolation goal for the Stars in the final minutes of the match, marking his fifth goal of the season as he found the net with just 1:22 left on the clock.

The scoring opened with Iafallo netting a power-play goal at 7:28 in the first period, marking his second of the season. Ehlers then increased the lead with another power-play goal just after the start of the second period at 7:14, bringing the Jets to a 4-0 advantage.

Looking ahead, the Dallas Stars will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday evening, while the Winnipeg Jets are set to embark on a three-game road trip, starting with a matchup against the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
