PULLMAN, Wash. — In an exciting matchup on Friday night, Washington State emerged victorious over Bradley, securing a 91-74 win, with Nate Calmese and Cedric Coward each contributing 18 points to the Cougars’ success.
Calmese was effective from the charity stripe, sinking 9 of 11 free throws, while also providing six assists and recording three steals for his team, now boasting a record of 2-0. Coward showcased his skills by hitting three three-pointers, alongside seven rebounds and three steals. LeJuan Watts played a pivotal role as well, achieving a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while also adding four assists to his tally.
Additional scoring for Washington State came from Dane Erikstrup, who finished the game with 16 points and seven rebounds, and Ethan Price, who contributed 14 points along with six boards. From the bench, Isaiah Watts made an impact by adding 10 points to the team’s total.
