EUGENE, Ore. — In a decisive performance, Nate Bittle led the Oregon Ducks to a comfortable 79-48 victory over the Montana Grizzlies on Friday night, scoring 17 points and securing nine rebounds.

Early in the game, Oregon established dominance with a powerful 15-0 scoring run, which spanned eight minutes and allowed them to take a significant 22-7 advantage. This momentum carried through the first half, where the Ducks extended their lead with a 9-0 run, wrapping up the half with a commanding 40-22 score.

In the second half, Oregon continued to control the game, launching another 9-0 scoring streak while maintaining a firm grip on defense, keeping Montana from scoring any field goals for a stretch of five minutes. The Ducks built their lead to a remarkable 31 points with just five minutes left in the contest. The final margin was solidified when Jamari Phillips connected on a three-pointer, marking the only other occasion the lead reached over 30 points.

For Montana, Joe Pridgen contributed significantly with 14 points and nine rebounds, but the team’s overall shooting percentage stood at 34%, and they managed only four assists throughout the game.
