Justice Shoats delivered an impressive performance, scoring 31 points to lead Siena to a thrilling 90-88 overtime victory over Bryant on Friday evening.
Shoats not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed five assists to help his team improve to a 2-0 record this season. Major Freeman had a solid showing as well, netting 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting, which included three successful three-pointers out of seven attempts, and he was perfect at the free-throw line with four shots made. Brendan Coyle chipped in with 12 points, going 3 for 10 overall and 3 for 9 from beyond the arc, along with making 3 of 4 free throws.
On the other side, the Bulldogs (1-1) found their offensive leader in Rafael Pinzon, who racked up an impressive 33 points while also dishing out four assists. Connor Withers contributed with 12 points, complemented by five assists, two steals, and an impressive four blocks. Earl Timberlake rounded out Bryant’s top performers, finishing the game with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two steals, showcasing his all-around skill set.
