— In an impressive display of skill, Jaquan Sanders contributed 24 points to help Hofstra secure a convincing victory over Iona with a score of 90-76 on Friday evening.
Sanders showcased his defensive prowess as well, recording three steals during the game. His teammates also played significant roles, with Jean Aranguren finishing with 18 points alongside nine rebounds and nine assists, and Cruz Davis adding 15 points, successfully making five of his eleven shot attempts and three of five from the free-throw line.

On the other side, Iona (0-2) was led by Clarence Rupert, who managed to score 20 points while pulling down six rebounds and snatching three steals. Dejour Reaves contributed 12 points, along with six rebounds and two steals, aiding the Gaels’ efforts throughout the game.
