Jarvis Moss delivered an impressive performance with 24 points, leading Radford to an 89-77 victory over William & Mary on Friday night.
With Moss contributing six rebounds, the Highlanders improved their record to 1-1 for the season. Ibu Yamakazi also had a standout game, adding 17 points and demonstrating accuracy by making all six of his shots, including four from beyond the 3-point line. Brandon Maclin finished the game with 14 points, despite struggling from the field with a shooting percentage of 25% due to 2 of 8 attempts, but made up for it at the free-throw line by hitting 9 out of 11 attempts. He also contributed eight rebounds to the team effort.

For the Tribe, Noah Collier was the leading scorer with 15 points and seven rebounds, showcasing his all-around game. Chase Lowe matched Collier’s output with another 15 points, while Caleb Dorsey offered support with 13 points as well.

The contest remained competitive as the first half concluded with Radford holding a slim three-point advantage at 42-39. Moss was instrumental during the first half, scoring 13 points and providing his team with the necessary momentum. In the second half, Radford surged ahead, utilizing a decisive 10-2 run that elevated their lead from seven to 15 points. The Highlanders outperformed the Tribe in the latter half by a margin of nine points, primarily driven by Yamakazi, who scored a team-high 11 points during this period.
