CINCINNATI — In an impressive display of teamwork and offensive skill, Xavier secured a 94-80 victory over IUPUI on Friday evening, led by Ryan Conwell’s impressive contribution of 19 points.
Conwell demonstrated his proficiency by shooting 6 of 11 from the field and sinking 3 out of 6 attempts from three-point territory. He also converted all four free throw attempts, playing a crucial role in the Musketeers’ performance as they improved to a record of 2-0 for the season.
Zach Freemantle also made a significant impact, adding 17 points to the scoreboard with an efficient shooting performance of 5 of 8, while hitting 7 of 8 from the charity stripe. He rounded out his performance with six rebounds.
