Fox Sports is set to broadcast its NFL pregame show from Naval Base San Diego this Sunday, as part of its ongoing initiative to pay tribute to the military in honor of Veterans Day.
This event marks the second occasion within a five-year timeframe that “Fox NFL Sunday” has been hosted at a military base in San Diego, with its previous visit to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar back in 2020.
Last year, the program took place at the U.S. Air Force Academy, successfully completing a cycle where it had the opportunity to highlight all three of the nation’s military academies over five years.
Additionally, “Fox NFL Sunday” has a history of broadcasting from extraordinary locations, such as the USS Harry S. Truman while in the Mediterranean Sea in 2000 and Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan in 2009.
The upcoming two-hour broadcast, beginning at 11 a.m. EST, promises an exciting lineup of events, including Rob Gronkowski making a dramatic leap from an MH-60s helicopter into the Pacific Ocean. Furthermore, the entire cast will engage in training exercises with Navy SEALs, ensuring a thrilling experience for viewers.
